About Hello Viti
Vitiligo Serbia, also known as Hello Viti, is a patient support group based in Serbia that aims to unite individuals affected by vitiligo through education, community, and shared experience. Founded as part of the global movement inspired by the Vitiligo Research Foundation, Hello Viti supports the establishment of patient groups worldwide to foster connection and empowerment.
The organization’s mission centers on providing a safe and welcoming space for people living with vitiligo to exchange knowledge about the latest scientific research, available therapies, and coping strategies. It encourages members to support one another emotionally and practically while advocating for greater awareness and understanding of vitiligo in Serbia.
Hello Viti is inclusive, inviting not only those with vitiligo but also individuals interested in learning more about the condition to join the community. This openness helps bridge gaps between patients, families, and the broader public, promoting education and reducing stigma.
A key focus for Vitiligo Serbia is celebrating World Vitiligo Day on June 25 each year. This observance serves as a platform to increase public awareness, foster solidarity, and highlight the experiences of those living with vitiligo. Through events and campaigns around this day, Hello Viti helps amplify the global vitiligo community’s message of acceptance and hope.
By aligning with international efforts and maintaining a grassroots approach, Vitiligo Serbia (Hello Viti) plays an essential role in improving quality of life for people with vitiligo in the region. It provides ongoing encouragement, up-to-date information, and a network of support that empowers individuals to live confidently with their skin differences.
